There’s crime enough to keep them busy, and a sinister undercurrent running from the Qunari gangsters all the way up to City Hall. But in this city…her city…justice is sweet.

Under 48 hours until Wave Two story drafts are due! Writers, how are you doing? Who’s still on track to turn something in tomorrow?
i’m stuck at around 13k right now…which leaves me one HELL of a remaining word-count heading into Thursday…and what part of the world hits midnight latest on Thursday? ;o)
i DO finally have my entire story mapped out, a fairly solid outline right up to the end, so my artist won’t be lost reading the non-story parts i’m having to submit in place of more legitimate content.
man, this story is a beast.
and i have a completely new respect for anyone who write longfic…to say nothing of people who write novels. mapping stories for cohesive, gripping plot elements, in addition to timing and flow, is exceptionally difficult. it’s really no wonder i’ve stuck with pwp and one-off drabbles for so long.
how’s everyone else doing?
(though this analogy is only applicable to the me that used to actually wear underwear…)
turning in this rough draft for review is gonna be like fishing out my grossest, bottom-of-the-drawer-period-granny-panties and sending them to my friends like i expect them to squint real hard and pretend it’s La Perla.

but.
i’ve been so focused on getting to 20k that i’ve sort of…neglected…to remember that according to my thick-ass outline…this only gets me to about the MID POINT of the plot.
**wails**
i mean…i guess i can have the rest outlined (detailed) up to the end, without the fleshed-out writing part, but i feel like a MASSIVE TOOL doing that.
